Design Derby Print
The team at the Manchester Print Fair put together a brief for various artists to design a World Cup themed print for their 'Design Derby' event at the National Football Museum.
My design took its lead from Sensible Soccer;s 16-bit aesthetic, a game I was obsessed growing up in the early 90s.
The result saw all 32 competing nations at the 2014 World Cup displayed on all their block pixel glory with the final piece being exhibited at the museum during the event.
A limited run of 25 posters were printed and made available to buy at the National Football Museum shop.
Amazingly, The Guardian's football website featured my design during their coverage of the tournament.
